People with a life-limiting illness, as well as their family, friends and caregivers, face innumerable challenges as the illness or condition progresses. Whether at home, in a hospice or a hospital, there are many decisions to make and a variety of health professionals with whom to interact. As they anticipate the future, those who are affected may experience fear, anxiety and uncertainty. After a death, the needs of family, friends and caregivers continue, and they may experience a sense of loss and deep sadness in facing life without the person who has died.
Our trained grief and bereavement volunteers are there to help wherever and whenever our clients need their support.
